Receiving my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University gave me the opportunity to meet people who were likeminded, and wanted to help others find clarity. During my clinical practicum experience, I worked with a variety of clients. I have experience working with young adolescents as well as adults navigating various phases in their lives. With this, I have also had the chance to work with many concerns like anxiety, depression, family life transitions, and day-to-day struggles that everyone juggles.
Helping others and being a listening ear is important as a therapist. It keeps me connected with incredible people who trust me to be a part of their support system. Ultimately, it is a mutual exchange that we can both walk away better from.
I understand that trying to build a strong sense of identity can be challenging in today’s world. Sometimes self-expression is influenced by the fear of what others might think, or by differences between one’s cultural environment vs. social environment. Helping you explore your individuality and independence to fulfill your best self can open up so many doors for you in personal confidence, relationships, and career.
